The Interference Avoiding Wireless Speaker offers users a mellifluous sound by operating over an FM frequency, which avoids interference from cordless phones and microwaves. Wouldn’t that be great! The transmitter can connect to any iPod or other MP3 player, television, stereo system, or portable CD player through the 3.5mm jack and will broadcasts to the speaker from up to 100 feet away. The speaker has a 12-watt subwoofer augmented by an acoustic bass chamber that produces low range sounds while the 3-watt tweeter offers accurate high frequencies. The speaker needs eight C batteries while the transmitter needs four AA batteries.

Aleratec have created the Aleratec PortaCruiser HDD duplicator that makes 1:1 HD to HD duplication simple.

Although it’s not the most exciting of gadgets we cover here at GadgetVenue, it still is quite a handy device for those who want to make an exact copy of a hard drive quickly.

The PortaCruiser is a black device that has an LCD dot matrix screen in the middle and two hard drive docks, one on each side of the screen. The built in duplication software allows you to copy 2.5 inch and 3.5 inch hard drives for backup or replacement purposes.

The iphone has an app for just about everything we know that, but when you try to record audio the sad part is that the speaker is located in the bottom of the iphone. As you hold the iphone and record, you are more than likely covering up at least of the speaker. This means the clarity is certainly not as good as could or should be. Well the mini iphone microphone is perfect, lightweight, portable, and small. Pharos is in the business of making a variety of different mobile handsets and PDAs (personal digital assistants) and the company has announced their latest addition, the Pharos 565. This device has the distinction of being the first rugged PDA that is designed on Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system.

As another rugged device discussed yesterday, the Panasonic Toughbook H1 Field Tablet, the Pharos 565 PDA can take its fair share of abuse including a drop from a height of four to five feet, making it compliant with IP54 standards.

Verbatim’s new Tuff-Clip Flash Drive is constructed from a ABS plastic or Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene if you want to get technical. ABS plastic is well known for its hard wearing and shock absorbent properties and has been used to create golf club heads, protective headgear and a wide range of automotive body parts.

If you’re on a diet then I guess this is not the best mouse to get. This wireless chocolate mouse in the shape of a chocolate bar even has a  small nibble taken out of one corner. My mouth is watering just writing this post  An inspired gift for someone who loves chocolate.

It might look like an authentic bar of chocolate but unfortunately you cannot eat it. You can however use it as a mouse, so you might want to eat it but you’re probably better off using it to navigate the cursor around your computer screen.

We have already seen a few different key shaped USB drives, the latest one if from the guys over at Gadget4aqll and it it certainly colorful, the Key USB Drive.

Here is an interesting keyboard design from designer Ignacio Pilotto, which rather than featuring the alphabet it features brands replacing each letter.

The repetition of the logos used by the advertising psychology, causes us to systematically recognize the brands, getting us to recognize the logos rather than our own alphabet.

It certainly is an interesting idea, it would probably take me a while to learn how to type on this thing, as I still spend most of my time looking at the keys when I am typing.

Here is an innovative design for a USB drive from designer Marlies Romberg, the Wax Seal USB drive.

The Wax Seal USB drive is made from a combination of porcelain and silicone, and it comes with a signet ring that you use to seal it with wax like a letter.

This is very cool and completely different than some of the USB drives we have seen so far, unfortunately it looks like it is just a design at the moment, and not an actual product.

Submerging a motherboard with all of the adapters and fans inside the case into vegetable oil is indeed not new and not very popular. This has fewer upsides than problems it may cause while assembling and using the PC. Makes it of course more exiting, but prime advantage of all this – liquid cooling – has found interest between overclockers and gamers. So, a liquid cooling kit for a processor alone is an average thing these days. And now we got an announcement from BFG which sais they will do VGA cards with liquid cooling.
