AT&T  could be getting the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 towards the end of this month. The information comes from details emailed to Engadget that reveal the dealers price on the X10 as well as a few other phones.

The Sony Ericsson X10 is a fairly decent smartphone although it does lack in that it runs Android 1.6 and now 2.1 or above, and the battery lasts just a few hours rather than over a day unless you manually tweak and remove software that automatically runs.

For those who prefer the X10 to other current offerings, prepare for it to launch on AT&T within the next few weeks.

A concept with an always on LCD display and user selectable LED backlighting. The hour is shown in digits in negative space in the center of the display, minutes are shown by the ring of blocks surrounding the digits. The first rotation of minutes in positive blocks to 30 minutes, then the second rotation in negative blocks to 60. There are markings to help indicate the current position.

A concept design with a strong, rugged stainless steel case connected with a timing interface that shows hours, groups of 5 minutes and single minutes 1-4 in three distinct circles. Hours in the upper circle and 5 minute intervals in the bottom left circle are shown at the same points as hours and minutes on a clock face so the approximate time can be read at a glance.

The primary focus of a laptop design revolves around being compact as well as portable. In doing so, one feature that some mobile users seem to miss is the numeric keypad. Sure you can get a separate USB keypad, but that means you’ve now got another notebook accessory to lug around with you.
Designer Sun Lihui envisions a keypad that has been integrated into a Bluetooth mouse so that the pointing device can perform a dual function. Called the Key Mouse, this conceptual product comes with a retractable hood that can be lifted to reveal a hidden keypad that can be used for all of your number crunching..
When the keypad is not required, the hood can be lowered and you’re back to using an ergonomic mouse that is fitted for the palm of your hand.

A concept design with robotic looks and a sleek smoked black lens. Green and blue lines present the time in circular shapes that show hours, minutes and seconds in a very simple to read manner, for precise and speedy timing. Hours and groups of 5 minutes are basically in the same positions as hours on a clock face in the upper and lower circles.

This concept watch has integrated Bluetooth so that when you pair with your smartphone, any notifications received will be transmitted directly to your watch. Great for keeping up to date with what’s going on with your friends and with trending topics across the globe. You can scan through recent notifications by pressing the buttons.

The wireless Toe Mouse is a concept gadget designed for those with upper limb disabilities which would otherwise prevent or make it very difficult for the PC user to use a regular mouse.

The Toe Mouse is the design idea of Liu Yi and has been developed to rest on the floor while the user places his bare foot into the device in a fashion not so different from sliding on a fuzzy slipper. Just like a hand mouse, good ergonomic design was a consideration of the Toe Mouse with Yi making his device easy to wear between the first and second toe.

The device includes sensitive sensors in its base so that a tap of the big toe is recognized as a left click and a tap of the right toe translates into a right click.

It’s a cool idea and of course, you don’t have to have issues with your hand to use it, you could just be a busy bee that wants to keep both hands free for typing while utilizing your foot for the necessary mouse movements. Suffice it to say, this is still a concept gadget.

A concept wrist watch that uses a laser light to display the time. With a touch of the button on the side, a beam of light is sent out of the front of the watch through a small window and the laser within reflects the time onto a surface where the watch is pointed.

This iPhone stand concept is designed by designers over at ForkedUpArt and is fully functional delivering access beneath the iPhone for charging.

The user can also place their iPhone into the stand without the need to remove the iPhone case which is something most other stands don’t allow.

Apparently there are two versions of the Fork and Spoon Stand for iPhone, Fork Head or Spoon Man, and will set you back just $20 if you want one although remember these iPhone stands do not come with an iPhone or cable.

An industrial designer named Pauline Carlos has created an interesting concept for Dell.  The concept is called the Froot.  The Froot is a new type of computer that is composed of two projectors that eliminate the need for a traditional monitor or USB keyboard.

The Froot’s projectors display the image of the monitor on the wall and will project a keyboard on a table or surface for typing. The only thing that a person will need to properly run their computer is a blank wall and empty desk. Ports are placed on the left hand side of the Froot and the right side of the device features a DVD drive.

The Froot could be beneficial to the environment.  The use of a virtual monitor and keyboard could eliminate much of the material that goes into creating computers.  In essence, the Froot is more than a concept; it’s an idea that caters to sustainability.  This means that there will be less junk and trash in landfills.

To create the Froot, Pauline used a biodegradable case where the two projectors are housed.  The only thing that the Froot is missing is a mouse.  The mouse issue probably won’t be solved with a third projector.

The Nokia Communicator has always been a bit of a brick. The idea was great, but I felt it never looked quite the part. Recently, images of a new touched-based communicator have been floating around which appears it might actually be worth looking at.

Although it probably wont be a mainstream device, it could do fairly well considering it looks rather sleek with it’s touch screen interface. Not only is the front side of the phone touch screen, but it appears that when you open it up that everything inside is just one big foldable touch screen. I have to say it does look rather nice! No details other then what I have said though and as it’s a Nokia concept… it could well stay that way as they list a ton of concept designs that don’t always make it to production.

The Prime Gaming Laptop is a concept idea which takes a 13″ laptop and ads a couple of extra OLED screens on the side giving it a total of a 26″ diagonal screen.
The concept is fantastic and if they can make it work then they will have one rather cool laptop on offer. 3 screens make this laptop work. The middle screen is just 10 inches in size while extra screens on the left and right add the extra 16 inches to the total screen size making a total aspect ratio of 32:10. The body of the Prime Gaming Laptop is made of aluminium and large vents can be found which keep the 2 CPU’s and GPU’s nice and cool.

The phone you are looking at is a concept of a Windows Mobile device. It was designed by David Turpin and was designed to look very sleek.

There are no technical specs for this phone available except for it has a screen with a slightly higher resolution then normal from top to bottom and it appears to have a slide out touch sensitive qwerty keyboard. With a phone looking this good I would imagine that some phone company should contact David ASAP as this is just great.

Asus Stealth Concept is a computer which acts as both a tablet or a desktop PC.
The Stealth concept comes in 2 sections which are a screen and keyboard. When the keyboard is removed the screen can be propped up and the whole device used like a desktop. When the keyboard is stowed away it functions just like a tablet PC. I do like the idea and the concept pictures do look great. I am all for being able to use a computer as normal in the office and still being able to take all your data with you on the road. This neat device will do just that.

This time it shows a phone with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard which is something that a number of people are asking for.

The keyboard also seems to be set up a little bit like a controller too with a dial on the left (analogue?) and action buttons to the right.

I do like the look of this design although I wouldn’t be convinced with the small keys of the keyboard. If I were designing it I’d fill the panel with the biggest keyboard I could squash on there.

Anyway, it is doubtful that Apple will follow the design on this image but it’s still cool to see what’s possible.

Universal remote controls are not a new invention as they have been around before. Even the iPhone can be configured to control everything in your home. This one is still worthy of a mention though as it uses a large touch screen on the front of the device which is used to control most aspects of your home. It is designed by David Chacon and is described by DVice as a “Nerve Centre right in your pocket”.

The Universal Remote control if made, would be able to control your lights, curtains, oven, TV, music etc… all from it’s graphical interface. If you do not like the design of the interface then the option is there to design your own front end.

Of course, if you want to switch on and control your oven, you will need a compatible oven… but if you want that lazy boy type life then no doubt you have remote controls for everything already and now you just need a Universal Remote to mix them all in to 1 device. It looks great though and something I could see my self using

The VTR USB Flash Drive is a concept designed by Raja that functions as an innovated pen drive. The flashdrive has an LCD screen built in which allows you to browse through the files stored on it. Bluetooth is then used to transmit files selected on screen to a mobile device.

Storage capacity of the concept drive is 160GB which in most cases would be more than enough to store all your files on.
