The R10 concept was designed by Marouane Bembli, a 23 year old Swedish student who has high hopes for the car being built by Audi. It’s based around an Audi R8 and looks a little more futuristic than the R8. It is powered by a “concept” V10 along with weighing about 2645lbs (in theory).

Although a fair bit different than an Audi R8 the R10 concept does have some resemblance. See the pictures below.

It all started 25 years ago, when Kris Marshall of Iowa decked the halls hood of his truck with a strand of Christmas lights. Fast forward to today and he’s still carrying on the tradition of the “Christmas Truck,” but now his truck is 3,000 lights strong.

Each year, automobile manufacturers release a new concept car. In 2009, auto manufacturer Honda released the Honda P-Nut.

The Honda P-Nut is an acronym that stands for Honda Personal-Neo Urban Transport.  The “P-Nut” is simply an abbreviation for a car designed for city life.  The car was created for the urban-dweller and the purpose is quite obvious in the car’s design.

The Honda P-Nut is just over 11 feet long and 6 feet wide.  The car stands at almost 5 feet high. Because the car is so compact, it can easily maneuver into tight parking spaces. As the center of cities become more and more crowded, cars like the Honda P-Nut will become more attractive.

The Honda P-Nut is also ecologically friendly.  The car has a very small, highly efficient gasoline engine, however, it also has a battery pack designed for electric driving.

The interior of the Honda P-Nut is also quite different from other cars. The driver sits in the middle of the car while two passengers are capable of sitting in the rear seats. The Honda P-Nut is similar to the three-seat Scion iQ in its interior design. The way the seats are positioned gives each passenger plenty of legroom that is equivalent to a midsize sedan.  Essentially, the interior of the car has a V-shape that creates a very open and spacious interior.  The rear seats of the car can also fold up so that the driver can have extra space.

apparently some dude (François Knorreck) spent 10 years, 10,000 work hours and 15,000 Euros building the Snaefell, a motorcycle with the ultimate side car.  I was sort of hoping that the bike could detach from the side car and be independently propelled, but as you can see from the overhead shot it’s one complete body; a Unibody (wink) of sorts.  I have to question how well it handles, but considering its uniqueness does it really matter?

The Python is produced by a company called WaterCar, and it can reach speeds of up to 60mph on water, check out the video of it in action below.

The BMW Vision Efficient Dynamics concept car is touted to be able to drive around 31 miles when driven in all-electric mode while its 6, 6 gallon fuel tank boasts a range of 400 miles. The electrical power consumption is 26, 16 kWh per 100 miles. This groundbreaking super car features all-aluminum chassis as well as suspension. LED lighting allows additional power consumption.

The power train of the concept car offers a top speed of up to 155 miles per hour however the super car is able to exceed this speed limit. This miraculous concept car measures 181, 1 inches in length, 74, 8 inches in width and 48, 8 in height and is comfortably suitable for 4 persons while the luggage capacity of 5, 3 cu feet.

The curb weight of this daredevil replica is 3 076 lb while keeping the gravity center low. Speaking about the power to weight ratio, the BMW Vision Efficient Dynamics concept car boasts a high performance being at the same level as regular combustion engine sport cars feature.

Keeping the sandwich floor concept of Mercedes in mind, the structure of this concept car allows three different platforms to realize: first one is an E-Cell with battery, secondly E-Cell plus with gasoline and battery and the last one is an F-Cell with hydrogen. This concept allows the powertrain to be moved into the floor cells in the event of a front-end collision. This innovative is not only a great safety solution but also will help creating a universal platform.

From the design viewpoint, only the obligatory 3-pointed star placed in the center of the front grille has been seen common with other conventional Benz models. A sweeping curve is making the appearance of the car unique that begins right behind the front quarter and finishes up the beltline located near the back side of the car. This BlueZero concept is relying only on its existing architecture, practical thoughts and strong support from the confident customers.

Epine concept car derived from a project to create a hybrid eco-friendly vehicle that is able to provide a racing track experience to its occupants while at the same time offering a new way of being in touch with the nature. The minimalist design of this car gets inspiration from racing vehicles – Formula One cars and motorcycles – and comprises a whale skeleton as a token of natural element. The major technical feature of this car is the Epine system that allows a complete seating arrangement by adopting the drive-by-wire technology to run the steering system.

The storage compartment is located in the front and the powerplant is at the rear side of the car. Michelin Tweel concept which actually is airless wheels has been used in the suspension system of this car and is housed within the wheel itself. The structure and the materials of the wheel spokes allows to compress and decompress, offering a collection of motions. The total length of the compact car is 4,260mm, width 1,882mm and height 1153mm.

The front fender reminds me of my husband’s old shaver, but Oliver says he’s rounded it to prevent pedestrians from injuries. Point noted Mr. May. The car tires appear to be slim silhouetted due to a “shorter sidewall height, a larger wheel diameter and a fine line between the rim and the tire’s carcass.” The chassis is constructed out of lightweight aluminum and carbon to keep the car light and fuel efficient. Suitable to be equipped with “in-wheel drive” for each tire, the car design touts the eco-friendly tag by including hybrid/fuel cell propulsion to guarantee zero emissions.

This green bike is designed to change the vision of traditional environmentally friendly bikes. The cunning design includes its angular bodywork making it look like a sporty model and advanced hubless wheels to make it a real stunner while its driving range is almost 150 miles.

This is expected to be a like sport bike with performance of 125cc to 250cc thanks to its 5kW fuel cells. Its up to date wheels operate through a strongly positioned inner rim as well as spinning outer rim which rotates on internal bearings.

Mostly the rear wheel works as a huge bearing while the tire is fixed to the outer rim. As electromagnet rotates the outer rim, its center remains unchanged. Anyway, it is a very nice concept car and what is important is that it is an ecologically friendly model. Electric power will possibly limit its speed, but it does not seem to be a problem.

Social networking did not appear to be so popular it is nowadays. Networked car comes in different bright colors, so apparently it is going to produce a vivid impression on any driver. Apparently it is a great idea to have such cars on the road which happens to be useful for traffic jam, but would it work in the city? Anyway, highway roads would be more arranged with such a concept.

According to its designer, the car is designed for different people with different views and ideas, those who value private relations. Being just a concept, BMW snug is reported to be highly assessed by BMW, but still nothing is clear about its future. BMW snug is a 4 seater vehicle which is able to be used as a sitting room. Its design appears to be sophisticated with paper waves for covering a central cell.

Sunbeam tiger 2025 is made of tubular frame from recycled aluminum while its seats are made of soy foam as well as biofabrics. Its body panels are made of oil resin body, so you can see how eco-friendly materials catch on. Given the materials it is made of, its curb weight amounts to 600kg. For better safety condition, its roll bars are constructed into the seat frame. An estimated driving range is around 800 miles on a single charge.
