Each year, automobile manufacturers release a new concept car. In 2009, auto manufacturer Honda released the Honda P-Nut.

The Honda P-Nut is just over 11 feet long and 6 feet wide.  The car stands at almost 5 feet high. Because the car is so compact, it can easily maneuver into tight parking spaces. As the center of cities become more and more crowded, cars like the Honda P-Nut will become more attractive.

The Ultimate Motorcycle Side Car

apparently some dude (François Knorreck) spent 10 years, 10,000 work hours and 15,000 Euros building the Snaefell, a motorcycle with the ultimate side car.  I was sort of hoping that the bike could detach from the side car and be independently propelled, but as you can see from the overhead shot it’s one complete body; a Unibody (wink) of sorts.  I have to question how well it handles, but considering its uniqueness does it really matter?

Puristic Sports Car

I want a car that’s sporty yet contemporary; elegant yet extravagant, chic yet rugged. I think I want the White Vapor; but then again maybe not. The front fender reminds me of my husband’s old shaver, but Oliver says he’s rounded it to prevent pedestrians from injuries. Point noted Mr. May. Following a “puristic sports car layout” expect no doors or roof and a twin cockpit. The choice of a right or left steering wheel setting is possible, making it suitable for US and European roads.

Mostly the rear wheel works as a huge bearing while the tire is fixed to the outer rim. As electromagnet rotates the outer rim, its center remains unchanged. The electromagnet is also capable of regaining some power via regenerative braking. Compressed hydrogen fuel cylinders are positioned in the fuel tank.

Third-generation Toyota Prius unveiled

Posted by admin On July - 23 - 2009

The third-generation 2010 Toyota Prius was showcased at the auto show in Detroit. Toyota Prius is a highly improved car that is ready for your new driving experience. The new generation Toyota sports a new engine of 1.8 liters, with horse power of 160. According to its fans it feels great to drive such a nice car, with in car temperature reduced by more than 40 per cent. This is possible due to its solar powered ventilation system which has a special remotely powered automatic fan.

Third-generation Toyota Prius unveiled

This automatic air conditioned system turns out to be a very helpful feature especially during warm seasons. Once you are parked under the sun and are absent for a while, you will be surprised by its cool in-car temperature as soon as you come back. Air condition system is powered by a battery and is activated remotely. Activation system can be easily activated by a single touch of A/C button on your key fob. This very important process is possible thanks to solar cells placed on its roof which will power the system avoiding the presence of hot air.

Thanks to the new eco technologies, it became normal to have more sustainable cars and Toyota Prius is not the exception from the rule. Air conditioning system can be operated remotely not only to cool your cabin down but also to heat it up. This option appears to be very useful despite of the fact there is not enough energy produced by the roof solar panels. There are three driving modes: Economy, Power and EV. The innovative car is able to drive at low speed around a mile even without fuel.

New touch sensor system makes it possible for a driver to drive safely. The car is designed for five passengers with over 16 cubic feet of available cargo space in its back. Optionally, you will be able to choose a voice activated navigation system, so the car is flexible and customizable. The back seats are comfortable and spacious.

Stay connected with a new concept car

Posted by admin On July - 23 - 2009

Have you ever thought about how social networking can be of any avail, once you are on the road with no car to drive? Designer Varun Niti Singh has his own vision of what the new generation cars should do and how they are going to interact. The whole idea is to make it possible for the drivers to get a new driving experience by joining other cars. How is it possible? Networked vehicles are never seen before models but it proves to be important in critical situations.

Stay connected with a new concept car

Futuristically designed Dot car is more than just a regular car and the question is not only that it is an electric car. The main concept of this zero emissions vehicle is to have a great driving performance with sustainable results. Networked vehicle one day can become a normal thing on the roads, where many drivers are in a hurry. As soon as the car is on the road, it will be able to join other participants of road traffic.

It is quiet obvious that these participants should be vehicles that will be able to get their destinations thanks to the fore-going Dot car. It is really interesting idea but there main point here is would you rely on a driving experience of someone you do not know. Anyway, it is a very nice concept car and what is important is that it is an ecologically friendly model. Electric power will possibly limit its speed, but it does not seem to be a problem.

Social networking did not appear to be so popular it is nowadays. Networked car comes in different bright colors, so apparently it is going to produce a vivid impression on any driver. Apparently it is a great idea to have such cars on the road which happens to be useful for traffic jam, but would it work in the city? Anyway, highway roads would be more arranged with such a concept.
