In July of last year, Fujifilm broke ground by launching their FinePix W1 which was the companies 3D camera that could capture both 3D pictures and video that were viewable without the need of 3D glasses. This year, Fujifilm is following up on the success of last years model by introducing their newest camera, the FinePix W3.

The FinePix W3 follows up on last years model by offering up HD quality images as well as provides a simple way to view 3D movies on a large screen display. The W3 is similar to the older model in that it uses a pair of 10MP image sensors, but the difference is that the latest processor supports 3D video in 720p resolution. Both lenses work in tandem to snap pictures which are then rendered into a 3D effect. The FinePix W3 is not just limited to 3D technology, but is also backwards compatible, supporting 2D image capture by hitting just a single button on the camera.

In addition to this, the 3D digital camera includes a mini HDMI port which allows for an easy connection to a large 3D screen display so that you can enjoy your movies on the big screen. The FinePix W3 will go on sale next month for $500.
