Toshiba division start shipping an enterprise hard disk drive with high capacity – Toshiba MBF Series with 2.5-inch form factor with maximum 600GB storage.
Usually it used for mainstream storage arrays, blade servers, rack mount system and also mid-range volume servers. With speed 10,025 rpm, Toshiba MBF HDD featuring with Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) 2.0 interface, up to 6Gbps, 4ms average seek time in read and 4.4ms in write, with 16MB of buffer.
The capacity offer in 300GB, 400GB and 600GB. Toshiba MBF hard drive already improve the energy efficiency with no exceed 29dB of noise level with optional full-disk encryption. No price available yet.
