Bell Canada, who is in need of a new flagship smartphone to replace its aging Palm Pre lineup may soon be adding the HTC Legend. The information comes by way of a tip that Mobile Syrup received indicating that the Android 2.1 smartphone could be available some time in the May/June timeframe.
Assuming the tip to be accurate, it would mean that Bell Mobility would now have their first Android 2.1 handset. Bell does carry other Android devices like the Galaxy and the upcoming Dext, but both of these are running Android 1.5 OS.
There was no mention of pricing or service plans for the HTC Legend, but we will report back once we hear more about this.
