The Enyo is a new external solid state drive by OCZ that will feature USB 3.0 support. The drives, which will be available in around the middle of this month and will be available in three drive sizes: 64GB, 128GB and 256GB.
Common to the three Enyo drives include MLC NAND flash memory, 64MB cache memory and a USB 3.0 Micro B connector interface. Both the 128GB and 256GB external SSD drives have been benchmarked at a maximum read speed of 260MB/s and a maximum write speed of 200MB/s with sustained speeds being up to 150MB/s. By contrast, the 64GB drive offers somewhat lower speeds (maximum read speed of 225MB/s, maximum write speed of 125MB/s).
