Microsoft 64GB Zune HD

It didn’t take long for Microsoft to officially confirm existence of a 64GB Zune HD which made a brief appearance on the Zune website on Monday.
The new Zune player will retail for $350 with a release date scheduled for April 12th. With the larger storage capacity, the 64GB Zune HD is capable of holding either 16,000 of your favorite songs recorded at 320Kbps or 20 hours 720p HD video.
With the introduction of the new music player, Microsoft has also slashed prices on their older models with the 16GB music player retailing for $200 and the 32GB version carrying a price tag of $270.
The Zune 64GB edition comes several months after Apple introduced their first 64GB iPod Touch and it will be interesting to see how the new Microsoft music player will fare in the busy multimedia market.
