Buffalo revealed the new external solid state drive (SSD) called Buffalo SHD-PEHU3 support super-speed USB 3.0 with 244MB/s transfer speed when using Turbo PC software.The Buffalo external storage SSD come in 3 models: Buffalo SHD-PEH64U3-BK (64GB), Buffalo SHD-PEH128U3-BK (128GB) and Buffalo SHD-PEH256U3-BK (256GB). The interface is compatible with USB 3.0/2.0/1.1 and bundled with Secure Lock Manager Easy software. It will be available in Japan market with price $282 (64GB), $510 (128GB) and $1079 (256GB).

Motorola Backflip Available At Telus

The Motorola Backflip is now the third smartphone based upon the Google Android operating system that is now available at Telus. The Android phone comes with the patented Motoblur UI, which is Motorola’s custom user interface.
For features, the Android phone includes a 5 megapixel digital camera, GPS support and WiFi network connectivity. The Motorola smartphone is available on a three year service contract for $249.99 or mobile users can opt out of a contract all together and purchase the phone for $399.99 and go month to month for service with Telus.
The Motorola Backflip now joins the HTC Hero and Motorola Milestone which Telus already carries.

Garmin with T-Mobile USA join to release a new Android smartphone called T-Mobile Garminfone. It’s really similar with Garmin-Asus Nuvifone A50 equipped with 3.5-inch touchscreen display with 320×480 pixel HVGA resolution.

The T-Mobile Garminfone support Google service, equipped wiht bluetooth 2.1, wi-fi, 3M pixel autofocus camera, GPS and microSD slot. It will be bundle with Garmin Navigation including North America map, text-to speech technology and many more.

The Apple iPad may have only been available for less then a month, but it is already the target of a virus attack, the first for the Apple tablet. The information comes by way of BitDefender who was able to identify malware links in an email to users requesting that they upgrade to the latest version of iTunes.When unsuspecting Apple users click the malicious link, the virus attempts to log serial numbers and keys for installed software as well as attempts to steal passwords for ICQ, POP3 mail and Messenger.

With the success that LG has had with their chocolate line of mobile phones, can you really blame them with naming their latest phones after another sugary bakery product.
The LG Cookie Gig KM570 mobile phone is now available in European markets and depending upon it’s acceptance level, the possibility exists that the handset could see a global launch. The handset does have a predominant music-centric theme and includes 4GB internal flash storage memory, a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen display with 428×240 resolution, a 5 megapixel digital camera and support for high-speed 7.2Mbps network connections.
Rounding out the features include an FM tuner/transmitter, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion and Bluetooth support. No official pricing has been announced for the device.

Mobile-Review managed to get their hands on a Nokia N8 recently for review to see if it’s as good as expected, or if it will be a flop for the mobile phone company.
We first heard about the Nokia N8 back in March where a leaked picture of the phone was found. Since then the phone has been spotted a few times in XML files and another location. Mobile-Review now have a hands on with the device.
The Nokia N8 is set to be the first ever Symbian^3 phone launched with launch dates being scheduled for for Q3 (previously Q2) with an unknown announcement date although it is expected to be announced in May or June.
The phone it’s self has a large touchscreen on the front and is believed to be one of the flagship phones that the company are building this year.

Apple iPad now OK in Israel

When the Apple iPad launched in the US, shortly after Israel banned the imports of the Apple  device for what was believed to be relating to the wireless signals used on the iPad not conforming to the countries standards.
This ban went as far as airports even confiscating the iPad when people took them in to the country and then handing them back when they left the country.
We now hear that the Apple iPad can be imported in to Israel without problem.

HP Compaq 6005 Pro Desktop

Hewlett-Packard has a new ultra slim line desktop in the HP Compaq 6005. The desktop has a couple of interesting features including a very small footprint, one that is no larger then a sheet of paper.
