The Forkless Bicycle was created by a student named Olli Erkkila.  Although people are not sure what Olli was thinking when he decided to create the bike, one thing is for certain – the end result is interesting.

On first look, it would seem as if the bike is not even operational. The two wheels of the bike are at a considerably large distance from each other and it is quite obvious that the Forkless Bicycle does not have any shock absorbers.

In addition to a lack of shock absorbers the bike doesn’t have any chassis rigidity.  However, the bike is operational and can be controlled just like any other bike.

The Forkless bike is more form than function and is not the most practical bike for someone who is really serious about using the bike on a daily basis for everyday life activities. This particular bike was created for cruising and is not really something that a person uses for errands.  It’s the type of bike that a person uses for fun or to simply show off. As far features, it has equivalent standards to most Dell netbooks.  The Limited Edition Deanne Cheuk Dell Netbook comes equipped with 1GB of memory, HDMI output, 3-cell battery, and Intel GMA 500.  The netbook runs the Windows 7 operating system.

The company that produces the LightSleeper tested a device for many months on individuals who claimed that they had trouble sleeping. The LightSleeper was effective in helping a person get to sleep as well as putting a person back to sleep after they wake up in the middle of the night.

The LightSleeper works by projecting a soothing light on the ceiling. The person is supposed to lay down and as the light moves in a circular motion they are supposed to watch the light with their eyes. As they follow the light with their eyes they should begin to drift off within a few minutes.

apparently some dude (François Knorreck) spent 10 years, 10,000 work hours and 15,000 Euros building the Snaefell, a motorcycle with the ultimate side car.  I was sort of hoping that the bike could detach from the side car and be independently propelled, but as you can see from the overhead shot it’s one complete body; a Unibody (wink) of sorts.  I have to question how well it handles, but considering its uniqueness does it really matter?
