Vioguard LLC has just launched the worlds first Self Sanitizing Computer Keyboard. The self cleaning keyboard is aimed at the medical market and uses two 25-watt UV lights to kill 99.99% of viruses and bacteria in about 90 seconds.
Vioguard’s product has the look and feel of a standard notebook keyboard, and requires no software or special hardware to function. On a user-triggered or pre-determined basis, the Vioguard keyboard can automatically retract into its own clean “light tight” enclosure where it and safely floods the keyboard with ultraviolet light to disinfect 100% of the keyboard surface.
Vioguard keyboard is available for $899.
