Check out this cool Xbox Micro Mod, made using an original Xbox and measuring just 1 inch thick.
The Xbox Micro Mod is the work of modder Bandit5317 from the Xbox Scene forums, and it measures a tiny 23.5 x 21.65 x 2.5 cm.
The case is made out of 1/8″ thick (3mm) polycarbonate and consists of 4 panels. 3 of the panels were held together with epoxy and plastic welder to form the base. The top panel is supported by 4 posts which it screws into. All of the panels were made with the usual tools, so it doesn’t quite have that laser-cut precision, but I think it came out alright.
Inside the Xbox Micro is a 320GB 2.5 inch HDD, a v.14 motherboard, and a PW-200-V PSU, and it took the modder 6 months to build this tiny Xbox mod.
