Matrix Unplugged Chair

Being a big Matrix fan, it’s pretty obvious that I’d hype a bit over anything that bears the matrix word in its denomination, even more so when the object is actually inspired by some Matrix device. Here we have the Matrix Unplugged Chair which doesn’t seem to be designed for your comfort. However, the chair itself looks awesome and that’s because it’s made from the torpedo-lifting jaws of a nuclear submarine. Come to think about it, it kind of makes sense: there is a similarity between those highly-explosive parts and your highly-delicate behind… sort of.

According to Gizmodo, the Matrix Unplugged Chair lets you adjust it using all sorts of fancy motorized hydraulics, with a multitude of adjusters that allow for numerous configurations. It will take some time to find a comfortable position, anyhow.

The “not so good part” is that the chair is a unique prototype that isn’t supposed to be commercialized under a full line. It’s only natural to deduce that a unique thing will cost you some more money. Like $37,000. Not comfortable for your wallet, either. Maybe the designers can include a small nuclear missile, for emergency situations, and a Matrix plug… we’ll get our own jack, shortly, I’m sure.
