Sony Latest GPS Navigation Device With 6.1-inch LCD

Use of GPS Navigation Devices becoming increasingly popular for finding your way around while on the trip or for everyday commuting in big cities. While chances of getting lost and driving in circles getting slimmer, navigating in the market of the latest models of GPS devices is getting harder. With so many models available on the market you could easily get lost in finding “perfect” one. With the introduction of Sony latest GPS workhorse that task might get a bit easier.

A new navigation unit named NV-U3DV ( aka Bravia Nav), the new update to the nav-u series, promises handful of very cool features. Smart and intuitive user interface( Sony has refreshed most of the user interface for the NV-U3DV and has included gesture control) will not leave you scratching you head while trying to reach your destination. With 6.1 inch WQVGA LCD screen at 480×272( currently larger than most on the market) your wish for more map space and bigger buttons is also granted. While knowing that you are on the right track you could also enjoy multimedia capabilities integrated in this cool gadget. Japanese versions of this product will have an antenna for television broadcasts, and users can also play their own movies, music, and pictures (MPEG-4/AVC+H.264 with restrictions, MP3/AAC up to 320kbps, JPEG) of 4GB of internal storage. According to Sony unit has 2.5 times the data compared to its predecessor, and offers a robust database that also includes phone number search. Now, bad news. Unfortunately, Sony doesn’t sell navigation/GPS devices in the United States anymore. Life is not fair.
