Another Android smartphone is leaked, but unfortunately we can’t say that it is going to start its sales any time soon. This time it’s Sony Ericsson who fancy Android for its top range mobile phone, for next XPERIA division model to be precise. Parallels with HTC Hero here are possible, of course, but I fear they would be untimely because Rachel, so is its codename, sports some interesting features that make it stand out a bit.

There is not much to say about the next Sony Ericsson XPERIA, but we already know that it might whop Hero’s nose. First of all, SE is preparing an 8 megapixel camera with autofocus. Nothing with more humble pixel density was expected for the XPERIA because guys at Sony Ericsson were always taken up with cameras. Which probably explains an over 12 megapixel phone from them by the end of the year.

Now, there is more. HTC Hero comes with 528MHz processor. The XPERIA in turn is expected to be fitted with a latest 1GHz processor. That of course would make a difference no matter what the phone will be used for.

The last thing so far is the OS. SE Rachel is rumored to be one of the first devices out there with Android 2.0. This fact arises questions like whether it will have something at least remotely like Sense UI? Or one which is even more actual: how long to wait for it? All we know is that Android 2.0 comes in autumn, hopefully Rachel also.

TERRENA is a next generation concept vehicle aimed to go through several terrains of America. The exclusive tire mechanism of this car adapts the wheel’s dimensions to the various types of roads, allowing the user to drive the car safely in various conditions. To ensure better functionality, this vehicle is designed in a larger wheel diameter and reduced width along with an enhanced car height. The integrated sensors are able to provide signals about a road condition and if they found a good road condition signal, the wheels turn wide and the car height decreases to provide the required stability and control to run faster. Swedish super car maker Koenigsegg unveils its brand new solar super car with the help of Saab production facility to be recently bought by the company. Called the Quant, this electronic super car is expected to be available within the next two years. First showcased at the Geneva Auto Show in March, this charming sport car is about to harness the solar power.

This captivating sport car is made of thin film photovoltaic coating, aluminum/carbon body, a carbon chassis as well as 3102 mm wheelbase. The new FAES technology makes it possible for the Quant sport car a range of up to 500 km. This sustainable sport car is expected to weigh 1780 kg. Being a fully-electric sport car, the Quant is designed for 4 persons.

The Koenigsegg Quant boasts of its top speed of 170 miles per hour while acceleration is also impressive with 0 to 60 speed achieved for about 5, 2 seconds. This electric monster is supposed to feature a 512 horsepower and 527 lb feet of torque with an electronic engine for every rear wheel.

Just in couple of weeks from now Toshiba is going to add a new model of notebook to its shelves. Named Qosmio G50W/95JW it is a very slight refinement of G50. Qosmio G50 was released quite a considerable time ago and since its very first days has already gone through variations with hardware and model name. The Qosmio GX was planed to be Christmas Time bestseller and now its turn of G50W/95JW to fancy customers.

In fact, there is not very much to fancy for the added price I shall say, but anyway here are the specs. And I start with what I expected to be changed but it wasn’t. G50W/95JW has same international V.90 modem and Gigabit Ethernet LAN. Built-in 3G broadband antenna would be cool but no. The original Qosmio G50 still has a decent GPU (NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT) and enough RAM (2 x 2,048 MB DDR2) so they remained untouched. It appears so that manufacturers of the G50 were pushing things up a little bit because it was designed to run Genuine Windows Vista which always needed a bit more of everything over its required specifications. In future if you install Windows 7 on G50 or on G50W/95JW it will be even better.

So finally the changes are made to processor. The new Core 2 Duo T9600 runs at 2.8GHz which is 0.14GHz faster than the previous one and Intel PM45 Express Chipset is still there. HDD now has 500GB though you could have even a bigger one before. The price is about 3,175.00 USD. The rumors were that Qosmio G50W/95JW comes out in end of July but we heard that it will on July, 2.

I’m sure you will recollect the showcasing of Toasters we did on YD recently. While those were the flamboyant, futuristic sorts that bordered on unrealistic strategies, the Tulip Toaster we see here is quite contrary to the. The Micra Cases, on one hand, come with a ClearScreen Overlay that is designed to protect the display of your iPod and it’s made of polycarbonate. The Micra Cases are available in the following version: Micra Glam, a case with a touch of sparkle, Micra Dusk, a smoky charcoal case, Micra Chex and Micra Flow. All of these cases cost $19.99 each and $24.99 in a pack of two cases.

As for the Fuse Cases, on the other hand, they were inspired by the bold and bright colors that were all the rage back in the ‘80s. High-gloss polycarbonate was used for the top of the case, while matte-finish polycarbonate was used for the bottom. The Fuse Cases are available in a wide variety of color combinations: blue/black, clear/black, pink/black, purple/black, red/black and yellow/black and they cost the same as the Micra Cases.

Gateway rolls out its fresh series of very bargain-like notebooks. With prices varying between $499 and $599 you get incomparably better specs than not considerably cheaper Asus Eee PC 1008HA Seashell. The confrontation is obvious, however it is still a question whether Geteway NV series is easy to leave with. But as far as I can tell, NV’s design is better than the other’s in this price group. The next Gateway NV5807u model for $599 has all the same except for processor – 2.1GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T6500 versus AMD Athlon 64 X2 QL-64 Dual Core with same clock speed, but we all now for what we pay here, right? As you might have already guessed, chipsets are also different. But that’s not all. Gateway also equips these two models with different GPUs. Its Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD (NV5214u) versus ATI Radeon HD 3200 (NV5214u). All in all enough of everything to run preinstalled Windows Vista Home Premium. Final verdict: bargain.

ViewSonic debuts with its first all-in-one PC. It is the VPC100. Let’s take a look at ViewSonics novelty. The VPC100 has an 18.5-inch LCD display that works at 1366×768 resolution and with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The all-in-one PC is powered by 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU with 1GB of RAM. Capacity of the hard drive is 160GB. All the hardware is in the 1.4-inch thick case. Also the PC comes with Windows XP Home operating system.

The VPC100 comes with all that is needed. It has a DVD burner, a 4-in-1 card reader and four USB 2.0 ports. Connection to the world is provided by an integrated Wi-Fi connection. And this is not all. The all-in-one PC has a wired gigabit Ethernet. Also the VPC100 comes with 1.3 megapixel camera for video conferences and 2.5W front speakers. Consumers also get an optical mouse and a full-size keyboard.
