Samsung has launched its P400, a projector that is a combination of near perfect size and weight ratio that makes highly portable. The projector offers an impressively bright image for its size and overwhelmingly high-quality audio. The projector weighs a mere 2.0 pounds and if the weight of the power adapter and cables is added, it weighs a meager 3.5 pounds in totality. At dimensions of 2.5 by 5.8 by 5.7 inches, this device is certainly near pocket friendly in terms of size. This projector is smaller and lighter than most standard projectors. The projector is complete with an LED light source with a 20,000-hour lifetime. The LED effects easy packing of the projector post usage as no time is wasted in waiting for the light source to cool down first.

The projector, supplied with a VGA cable and a remote, is easy to set up. The projector lacks a zoom but the issues of close projection of the images can be dealt with by moving the projector closer to or further from the screen. The projector is complete with touch-sensitive controls on its top. The remote, smaller than the remotes of most other projectors, control offers good control options. The projector is also home for a composite video connector. For stereo audio input, RCA phono plugs are there on the projector.
The projector offers a brightness level of 115 lumens. This value is 77 percent of its 150-lumen rating. The P400 works really fine in a dark room and offers a 1.6 meters wide image. The colors displayed by the device are fully saturated, and yellows are clearly yellow and not depicted of mustard color. However, the video quality offered by P400 when playing a DVD is quite dismal with loss of details in dark areas. The Samsung P400 is available at a price of $550. Its significant features, coupled with its size and weight makes it a great projector choice.
