HP has launched the Photosmart C6380 all in one printer. This printer aims to conquer the market of all-in-ones by promising excellent scans and copies and high quality photo prints. The printer gains advantage of the wireless connectivity with built-in 802.11g Wi-Fi. The printer also features an Ethernet port. This port will help you in connecting the printer to power line networking over the mains in case you have poor wireless signals in your office. The printer boasts of sophisticated white and silver design. The front of the printer houses various buttons and a 2-inch colour display rests on the left. The color display assists you to preview and execute basic editing on images that you may load through the multi-format card reader on the device. However, you may not like the small size of this display and may prefer editing images directly on a PC.

The Photosmart C6380 is extremely easy to set up and you do not need to connect it first via USB to configure the wireless settings. The built-in display on the printer scans for nearby networks and you can select the desired network and enter the WEP/WPA key. The name of the printer will suggest you that it is aimed at printing photos to near perfection. The A4 colour photos printed by the device look stunning. The five-ink system comprising Photo Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow and a separate Black ink for text produces great, rich colours and provide an excellent depth of detail.

The Photosmart C6380 is pretty average in terms of printing speed. The A4 colour prints of the highest quality settings take about four minutes to come out. The standard capacity colour cartridge for the printer comes for around £8 each, while the black ink one costs around £10. The text pages are printed pretty fast with a speed of 15 pages per minute. Scanning is pretty decent with a 300dpi A4 colour scan taking about 17 seconds to be done. The HP Photosmart C6380 is available at a price of £249.
