Hellspawn Xtreme Reviews

Wired2 Fire is the latest product from the Dorking, Surrey based system builders. The company has been instrumental in making some excellent quality and quick PCs since the year 2004. Their latest computer, the Wired2Fire – Hellspawn Xtreme is a powerful gaming PC that lives up to the parent company’s reputation, but comes with a very hefty price tag. But the PC is definitely one of the fastest desktop PCs available at the moment. The Hellspawn Xtreme is completely customizable through the Wired2Fire website. The computer is powered by the current fastest i7 processor available, the i7 965. The processor in this case is overclocked from the standard 3.2GHz up to 3.7GHz. The processor uses the standard Intel air cooler that cools the CPU effectively. The user can also opt for the Thermaltake Golden Orb cooler, at an extra price of £21.53, as an alternative.

The processor works on an Asus P6T Deluxe motherboard that uses the new X58 chipset. This chipset supports tri-band memory. The motherboard has 6 slots, three of which are filled by Corsair XMS3 1,333MHz DDR3 memory modules, which is a total of 6GB of system memory. The computer sports a pair of 2GB ATI HD Radeon HD4870 X2 cards set up in a CrossFire configuration. To support the gaming capability of the computer, Wired2Fire is powered by an Asus Xonar HDAV 1.3 Deluxe 7.1 sound card. This soundcard supports 24-bit recording and playback up to 192kHz, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS.

The computer has two Western Digital 300GB VelociRaptor drives. As the features, these drives are incidentally the fastest non-SSD drives available. The computer is provided with two optical drives. These drives include a 16X DVD drive and a LG Blu-Ray/HD-DVD combo drive. The Wired2Fire – Hellspawn Xtreme is not a cheap machine. It is very expensive. With a price tag of £3,342, this machine is out of bounds for many users. But the Wired2Fire – Hellspawn Xtreme is one of the best and easily one of the fastest gaming machines available for use on the planet.
