As far as connections are concerned, the display has connections for DVI, VGA, and HDMI link. The display comes with a driver CD and a printed setup guide. The HDMI link of the display gives audio out through a 3.5-inch audio connection. The display is mounted on a stand that is extremely easy to adjust and is also malleable. A webcam, built in the monitor is a very flexible and innovative idea by Dell. The display lacks any kind of built-in speakers in it. However, there is a sound-bar that is attached to the bottom of the display. Dell does not sell the power adapter separately with the display and its sound-bar plugs directly into the sound power port built into the screen. It means that the sound-bar fits below the screen but the user does not get any power to run it.

The entire display package is complimented very well by the design of the monitor. However, the glossy screen of the display shines a lot and makes the display inappropriate to sit directly in front of sunlight. The display boasts of an extremely user friendly on-screen menu that lets the user navigate through controls and do adjustments related to brightness, contrast, color range, etc. At a price of £220 and with innovative features like a built-in webcam, make the Dell SP2309W monitor an excellent viewing solution and excellent value for money.
