Viewsonic VX2260wm Reviews

The screen appears extremely slim and compact due to the presence of a thin bezel around it. The stand coordinates nicely with the screen and offers a tidy and portable support. The screen is a big 21.5-inch screen with an aspect ratio of 16:9. This clearly shows that the screen display is aimed at the modern multimedia user.

The native resolution of the screen sometime makes text kind of difficult to read. The screen is capable of handling two applications side by side like an excel document and a word document. The display menu of the device is very well organized and the user can easily adjust things like dynamic contrast, sharpness and fine-tuning at a mere touch of a button. The screen lacks environment modes though. The picture on the screen is extremely sharp. The contrast is very effective, colours accurate and no bleeds from the backlight. But sometimes, the colors may not appear vibrant, particularly during gaming. The color issues become apparent if the screen in used as a gaming screen. But the fast response time of the screen handles fast-motion action very well.

The Viewsonic VX2260wm is very decently priced. It is available at a price of a mere £175 inc. VAT. The color issues with it seem nothing as compared to the cheap price at which it is offered. At such a low price for such a good product, it is kind of unrealistic to expect perfect performance. The features of the Viewsonic’s latest 22-inch display are enough to impress any widescreen user.
