iLUV recently presented their new iPod and iPhone speaker dock, the iMM183. It appears as an improvement of the earlier model, the iMM173 and basically adds text weather alerts from both SAME and NOAA, all appearing through radio channels that are preset. By using the iMM183 iPod and iPhone Speaker dock you will basically get weather alerts and now when problems appear.
What we always liked with these gadgets is the fact that 2 iPods (or iPhones or a combination of the two) can be charged at the same time. You can use any of them to play music and we also have a useful alarm clock that is built in. If you are considering buying the iMM183 you should know that it works with all 4th generaton minimum iPods and all iPhones. The price is still not known but the gadget should appear in stores around March.
